You can't get closer to DR food than this place, unless you fly to the DR, and actually go outside of the gross all inclusive hotels and resorts. I'm gluten free. Wheat is very expensive in the DR, so most dishes are not made with wheat.

Edica and her family have a lovely restaurant and delicious food! We loved the colorful, cheery and clean interior and Dominican music. The food was excellent - yummy pork, salmon and chicken. The chicken we ordered was in a fried sweet plantain sandwich with fried cheese and salami and a delectable sauce. Surprising flavors and textures and SO good! 10 out of 10 recommend.

Everyone should try this place! Very authentic Dominican/Caribbean food! Everything was delicious but our favorite thing was the sweet plantain burger. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the music. We are definitely coming back
